In Coco Chanel's earlier years, she was raised at an orphanage and although they taught her how to sew, she never once imagined that is what she was born to do. Instead of millions viewing her designs on the runway, Coco believed millions would be listening to her belting notes, as she had a brief career as a singer. All until 1910 when her first clothes shop opened. 10 year later her whole life turned around as she launched her first perfume, Chanel no. 5, which is still to this day the best selling fragrance in the world, her classic Chanel suit, and the little black dress in 1920.
